Vegas Golden Knights @ Montreal Canadiens
MONTREAL-- Following a slow start to the season, these days the Habs are making it tough to bet against the bleu blanc et rouge ( Blue, White and Red).
For a team that originally went 1-6-1 in its first eight, the Canadiens are now 5-2-0 in their last seven, with no signs of slowing down.
Not to mention they pulled an ace out of their sleeves just in time to host the newcomers from Sin City.

Charlie Lindgren has been a bronzed god in net for the past few games. He defeated the Vegas Golden Knights by making 29 saves on 31 shots. Not convinced? He shutout the Chicago Blackhawks in a 2-0 victory. Chicago as we know is a power house team and have 4 lines of stellar offense. Charlie Lindgren shut them out with many amazing saves, especially robbing Jonathan Towes.
Lindgren: "It was wild. We knew coming in that Vegas is a blue-collar team. They don;t give up, and we saw that tonight," admitted Lindgren.
Media: "How was your first game in the Bell Center?"
Lindgren: "It was unreal, you know Bell Centre, I mean it's where you want to play, it was incredible, the fans are the best in the league, it was a blast.
Media: "You made that save on James Neil, was that the spark for you and the entire team?"
Lindgren: "Yeah it was a good start, I only faced 2 shots in the first, it's not a lot of action, it's kind of easier when you get a lot of shots, you get into the game, you know it was a good start for me, I just carried it through."
All things aside Lindgren and the Habs played exceptional last night. The Montreal defense was outstanding and also the offense was buzzing early on.
