Jonathan Drouin Earns Molson Cup for October
The young forward collected nine points in 12 games during the first month of the season.

MONTREAL- Forward Jonathan Drouin is the Molson Cup recipient for the month of October.

Drouin was selected the second star of the game twice (on October 5th at Buffalo and October 14 against Toronto) and was the first star once (on October 24 against Florida). Phillip Danault, Brendan Gallagher, Charles Hudon, Artturi Lehkonen, Max Pacioretty, Jeff Petry, Carey Price and Shea Weber all earned star of the game nods in October.

In 12 games in October, Drouin led the team with seven assists, nine points (tied with Shea Weber) and three power play goals (tied with A. Galchenyuk and B. Gallagher).

The 22-year-old forward will be presented with the Molson Cup during a ceremony prior to tonight’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Bell Centre.
